Abstract

This article aims to present a biblical-theological contribution of John Paul II to the theme Consecration to the Blessed Virgin Mary. We will present a summary of the history of this "consecration" and its biblical-theological foundations, treat the terminological discussion surrounding this act of Christian piety and analyze the specific contribution of John Paul II to this topic.
