Abstract

This article analyses the role of method or resolution on discovery of transcendental being in Saint Thomas a Aquino (De veritate, q. 1, a.1). One observes the difference suggested by Saint Thomas a Aquino between two orders of knowledge (the order of definitions and the order of scientia), making argument pro an interpretation of the method of resolution while “transcendental meditation”.
