Em busca do significado teológico da "Sagrada Tradição"
Abstract
Given the importance of the “Sacred Tradition” for a correct understanding of the Christian revelation, through this article we want to examine, brifly the historical development of the theological understanding of “Sacred Tradition” to arrive on the magisterial teaching on this matter, contained in the Constitution Dei Verbum of Vatican II. In fact, if we want to properly understand the Council’s teaching contained in Dei Verbum, we must, as noted Pope Benedict XVI, to use a hermeneutic of continuity, which is characterized by the ability to harvest the theological connections between the Council’s texts and theological and magisterial traditions preceding it.
