A natureza como manifestação de Deus na filosofia teológica da Idade Média
Keywords:
Middle Ages. Nature. God. Revelation. Manifestation. Instrument.Abstract
Nature must be considered as an instrument in God’s hand. This doesn’t mean a diminution of Nature’s greatness and importance: it leads to a deepening - in the medieval context - of the great order of the cosmos, and, in it, a special place for man as “micro cosmos”. Therefore we are fare away from the instrumental reason, cultivated in later centuries, which is a kind of passport to a relentless exploration of Nature.
