O universo, a cidade e o homem em Al-Farabi

The philosophic thinking of al-Farabi can be called determinating to the development of Arabian philosophy. Since of Aristotle, the greatest philosopher and using, in second instance, the Plato ́s teaching, he built his vew giving special emphasis to human reason, for him the best and most indicated way to arrive until the comprehension, to the truth - of what religion is a symbolic representation – and to the happiness. The man ́s politic dimension, his live in the city, is elaborated since the great principle of the Being Hierarchy and the Order of Universe.
