Filosofia e tolerância religiosa na Toledo do século XII: Ibrahin Ibn David e Domingo Gundisalvo
Keywords:
Judaism. Christianity. Islam. Dialogue. Religions.Abstract
The present treatise intends to deepen and to examine the intellectual conditions, or at least the basal elements of the political, philosophic and religious tolerance on the twelfth century Toledo. The explanations here presented about Ibrahim Ibn David and Domingo Grundisalvo intend to show that there was a dialogue, although not fully expressed yet, that must be defined close by in its peculiarity. Both, Ibrahim and Grundisalvo, generally are linked to the called Translators School of Toledo. We intend to show first the premises from a dialogue of the religions in respective works of the two bookishes, and after to show, in a second step, how this dialogue in the philosophic work together occurred or could be ocurred in the Tranlators School.
