Keywords:
Chalice. Symbolism. Salvation.Abstract
The analysis of the different meanings existing in the Bible for the use of the cup shows that the symbolism of this instrument is related to the plan of redemption of the human race, but also represents the wrath of God upon the sins of men, manifested through the acceptance of the will of Christ and His death on the cross.
