In 2 Tm 2,22-26, Paul the Apostle exhorts Timothy, his beloved son, to avoid the passions of youth, the discussions and quarrels, and to seek and persecute the virtues. In this article we make a sinchronic analysis of pericope, searching to perceive the means and the reach of this little exhortation of Paul to Timothy, as well as the risk
