A crise na educação no pensamento de Hannah Arendt

The present article puts forward a reflection on the thoughts elaborated by the German political theorist, Hannah Arendt, about the crisis in education in the contemporary world. The work is divided into four complementary stages. The introduction presents a general overview of the problem and also indicates the conceptual reflection that forges the Arendtian thoughts and her thesis. The first stage presents the whole state of this unprecedented crisis in history while the world lives in a mass society. The second stage elaborates on the elements that helped form the crisis, namely, the loss of authority and the pedagogical matters that many times end up infantilizing the educational process. Finally, the last stage of the paper presents ways to overcome the crisis from the Arendtian standpoint, especially the attitude towards ‘Amor Mundi’.
