Aesthetics and politics between civilization and barbarism in Arendt's thought

This works it's about the conception of judgment in Hannah Arendt's writings, precisely, in the issue with politics and culture. We argue that the arendt judgment it's a political aesthetic judgment in which the mediation between reflection and sensibility, open to the world. This openingis characterized by the culture as civilization: a space where the human begin could be human. Besides, the closure for the world in the subjectivity that corresponds to barbarism. On barbarism, the human being without any relation with the cultural objects (the art in broad sense) or with others, is alienated from the world. Therefore, this article works with some conceptual relations of Arendts, culture and civilization, barbarism and wordlessness, and judgment and common sense. In conclusion that, there is a aethestic on Arendt thinking based on the concept appearance, in this case, the experiência its political and aesthetic at the same time.
